American photographer Jimmy Chin loves extreme adventures, especially hiking in the mountains. Particularly valuable in his travels is that, even while hovering over an abyss, Jimmy Chin does not forget to capture unusual landscapes on film. Thanks to his photographs of mountains, people who do not seem to be in danger of storming sky-high peaks can find out what a real extreme person sees and feel like conquerors of heights.
Talented American photographer Jimmy Chin was born in the US Midwest and lived on wheels for 7 years after graduating from college. What period was it? Constant travel, temporary earnings, and in free time - skiing and climbing the mountains. Romance!
But 10 years ago, a fan of extreme adventures began to live in the town of Jackson Hole, in the Rocky Mountains. Although "began to live" - not quite accurately said, because travel takes Jimmy Chin about 200 days a year. So when our hero is asked where he likes to travel most of all (meaning distant distances), he honestly answers: "Home."
Jimmy Chin says he is a cross between a professional climber, skier, cinematographer (he has his own business) and a photographer. The more things to do, the more competently you manage your time.
Some of Jimmy Chin's more exciting trips are Pakistan, climbing and skiing Mount Everest, and many adventures in the Himalayas. Almost every day in the life of a climber is full of interesting events that are simply a sin not to photograph on film.
The hardest part about taking photos on a hike is having to think creatively when you least want it. After all, you don't have to choose the weather conditions, and fatigue makes itself felt strongly. However, you have to distract from the thoughts of the desired halt - and as a result, take amazing photos of mountains and valleys, ordinary lakes and lakes from the clouds, in standard and dizzying angles.
All that is needed for a good mountain photograph is the right lighting and an interesting subject, Jimmy Chin, the author of the wonderful photos, humbly notes. The point is, there are many ways to capture the same landscape, so why not try them all?

The master's portfolio is so large that the finished pictures can be viewed for hours. We will save our readers' time and introduce them to photographs of mountainous terrain.
