Sometimes creating an interesting series of photographs, sculptures or paintings is not enough for the success of an art project. It is also necessary to present the material in such a way that the viewer gasps. Photojournalist Steve McCurry also set himself such a goal when the question arose about a personal exhibition in Rome. A series of photographs, including those related to Italy, are shown by the MACRO Museum (the abbreviation stands for “Roman Museum of Modern Art”). The interior is decorated in a futuristic style, and the room is divided into original “honeycomb” parts. Steve McCurry's photographs stand out against the backdrop of intricate metal and plastic structures. The unusual design of the hall knocks the viewer out of the usual rut, helping to better perceive photographs.
