It is impossible to say that art installations are created only for beauty, because they are not. Almost always, designers and artists put some meaning into their creations.
Korean artist Kim Sooja created an art installation dubbed "Lotus Zone of Zero, 2008". The name contains the word lotus, which means that it is these flowers that we can see in the installation located in the building of the Ravenstein gallery in Brussels. It is a pity that these flowers are not real, but that is why they turned out to be no less beautiful - they are lanterns that simply resemble flowers in shape. There are about two thousand of them in the installation! A lot. But that's not all, because in addition to the visual decoration of the hall, there is also a sound one - this colorful installation is accompanied by the sounds of Gregorian, Tibetan and Islamic chants.
The designer herself claims that this creation of hers is a call for peace, love and mutual understanding between people. This is what we so often wish on the New Year, and other holidays as well. I am sure that since the installation looks so beautiful in the photographs, it will be even better live. A truly amazing sight - as if all these flowers are floating in the air, unsupported by anything.
For the first time this installation was shown long ago - in the Rameau Palace, in Lille in 2003. From now until January 18, 2009 it can be seen in Brussels, as we have already mentioned.

Levitation Photo Project by Giuseppe Lo Schiavo: Landmarks Soaring Over the Ocean
Art is an unpredictable thing and often transcends the boundaries of the possible. It so happens that the flight of the photographer's imagination leads to the fact that the ability to fly (in the literal sense of the word) is endowed with objects that are completely uncommon. It is then that breathtaking and amazing photo projects are born. A vivid example is a series of surreal photographic works by the Italian master Giuseppe Lo Schiavo, which received the self-explanatory name "Levitation"

A Gift for Sweet Tooths: 34 Meter Train Model at Chocolate Week Brussels
Belgium is a chocolate country, you can't argue with that. At the Chocolate Week in Brussels, the best craftsmen presented amazing sculptures from this black, white and milk delicacy. A real sensation was made by a model train with a length of 33.6 meters, thanks to its gigantic size, it got into the Guinness Book. Perhaps chocolatier Andrew Farrugia was inspired by the fact that Belgium was the first country in continental Europe to create such an unusual sculpture by the fact that a railway service appeared
