A photographer's dream is to come to the forest, to a garden or city park, to a vegetable garden or to a field, and collect there a rich crop of lenses, cameras and flashes for every taste, color and size. In a way, this idea was brought to life by a Brazilian artist. André Feliciano in its colorful installation Camera flowers, presented in the greenhouse of the New York photovillage Photoville. Red, yellow, blue, purple, white, pink buds flaunt on green branches and stems of plants, and it seems as if this is a huge field of tulips, which Holland is famous for, or chrysanthemums that color autumn. Taking a closer look, the illusion will dissipate, and it becomes clear that these are not flower buds, but small multi-colored plastic cameras, only pretending to be flowers. André Feliciano is known for his love for nature, flowers in particular, that's why toy apparatus in his hands have turned into flowering plants that adorn flower beds, squares and parks.
The installation Camera Flowers consists of more than 3000 camera flowers of different types. Some are collected in bouquets and art compositions, others grow in whole fields, reminiscent of a multi-colored tablecloth, others spread on the ground or twine around the walls, like ivy or bindweed. André Feliciano knows his business very well, and carefully studied the world of plants and flowers, before setting up this amazing garden in Brooklyn, where the exhibition is taking place.
These and other art projects dedicated to flora and fauna can be seen on the artist's website.

Not a million scarlet roses, chestnuts or lilies, but exactly 28 thousand flowers in pots were needed by the artist Anna Schuleit for that amazing, unique installation that she and her assistants arranged at the Massachusetts Center for Mental Health. Thanks to creative enthusiasts, the corridors of the building were buried in flowers, and it was truly a hymn to life, light and color, which, as it turned out, can be found even among the gray and dull walls
