All people are different. Someone will not see the beauty in a blossoming bud, while to someone the garbage dump will seem like a work of art. It's all about the perception of the world. And while some, frowning, rush to work, others are trying to turn the imperfections of the environment into a small masterpiece. One such eccentric is a street artist. OakOak … For many years now he has been painting walls, roads, garbage cans and street ashtrays.
Most of the author's works can be seen in the city of Saint-Etienne, where the young man was born and raised. With his work, the artist seeks to embellish the streets of the city, turning disadvantages into advantages. And where others notice only a gray shabby wall, OakOak finds a field for creativity.
Whoever did he not portray on the pavement and old houses! And heroes from the beloved animated series The Simpsons; and a prison fugitive; and a fat tabby cat sprawled right on the road. But the biggest sensation among the townspeople and Internet users was caused by a broken heart, which the artist placed in the trash can. Everyone saw in this symbol his lost love, remembered the feelings he had experienced and again plunged into the abyss of the experiences brought by the once beloved person.
By the way, we have already published examples amazing works by OakOak previously. And looking at the new review, you can see that not only the style has changed OakOak, but also the meaning that the artist puts into his work. His street graffiti became more mature, and his drawings were filled with a deep philosophical meaning, covered with light irony.

How mosaics were created - an art that you want to touch with your hands: From the Sumerians to the USSR
It's hard not to love the mosaic - either for the deep philosophical meaning associated with the emergence of something new and whole from scattered, unremarkable fragments, or for childhood memories of sorting out colored pebbles, which, probably, everyone has. Works that you certainly want to touch, to which you are drawn to touch - this is what the art of mosaic is, and it has been that way for more than five millennia

More joy and giddiness in the gray city: street art from OaKoAk
Imagine: you are walking down the street, as usual, completely immersed in your thoughts, and suddenly you see a ninja turtle's hand reaching out from the drain hatch for a piece of pizza half-eaten by someone! Or bump into Bender's head from Futurama instead of a stone pillar. This is unusual and fun, and it is this principle that someone OaKoAk is guided by in his street art, filling the city with funny little people and characters from cartoons and games for Dandy and Gameboy
Beauty is in urban imperfections. Street work from OakOak
Not only in Russian cities, but also in European ones, there are many disadvantages associated with the deterioration of infrastructure, aging buildings and other similar pernicious processes. But if our authorities and people try not to pay attention to it at all, then in France, for example, such elements, on the contrary, stick out in the foreground. The street artist OakOak does this too
