The Cosmoscow International Fair is scheduled for September 7-9. This fair will be held in Gostiny Dvor and this time 250 artists and 70 galleries will take part in it. This is a record number of participants in this project. Last year there were only 200 artists.

Cosmoscow director and founder of this fair, Margarita Pushkina, said that she is very glad that every year this event attracts the attention of more and more artists who are striving to become its participants. This suggests that the art market in Russia is flourishing, the fair is developing and becoming more and more attractive for contemporary art workers.

This year, as in the past, they plan to determine the gallery that will receive the title of "Best Cosmoscow Stand". Determining the winner will be a special jury, which included Carlos Durand, director of Loop - an international exhibition of video art, Alexandra Danilova, deputy head of the art department of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. Pushkin in the department of America and European countries of the XIX-XX centuries, Anastasia Shavlokhova, founder of the Center for Contemporary Art "Winzavod", etc.

The entire Cosmoscow 2018 fair will be divided into separate sections. Each visitor has a chance to get acquainted with the works of Silvan Poloni, Albert Pepermans and other artists who are outstanding representatives of contemporary Belgian art.

Fair guests will be able to see a considerable number of art projects created by the masters especially for Cosmoscow. Such art projects included the work of Taus Makhacheva with the title "Artist of the Year" and a project from the Kazan Center for Contemporary Culture "Smena" with the title "Non-profit institution of the year". Alexey Martins will present his work this year at the fair, who was named "Black Diptych". During the fair, it is planned to hold a presentation of the collection of media art called "Pushkin XXI", on the creation of which the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts worked.

The Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair was first held in 2010. It was organized by Margarita Pushkina. This was followed by a long break and again such a fair was held only in 2014. The purpose of this event is to unite international and Russian artists, gallery owners, collectors.
