There are many comic book fans in the world. The city of Brussels is considered to be the capital of fascinating drawn stories. It even has a museum dedicated to this art form. It was here that they decided to hold a festival dedicated to comics, which took place this year on September 14-16. A huge number of guests from among fans of drawn stories, as well as more than 250 artists who are creating these very stories, arrived at this event in the Belgian capital.

The Brussels Comics Festival is being held for the ninth time. During this event, guests are invited to buy comics, thereby replenishing their collection, and also to meet those who are working on creating their favorite stories. People of all ages could be seen at the comic book festival. For example, one girl said that she loves stories very much, but simple books are difficult for her to read, since they are without pictures. She considers comics more interesting, because when she reads them, she vividly represents the events taking place and the voices of the heroes sound in her ears.

It has been 80 years since the first comics were released in Belgium. Today, 22 million copies of a variety of cartoon stories are printed here every year. The authors of these stories during the festival said that they create them not only for fun, but, as they say, on the topic of the day.

This time, David Ratt, who came from France, was present at the Barcelona Comics Festival. During his interview, he said that he is constantly working on creating new stories. He recently created a comic strip titled "Toxic Planet", which the author decided to devote to ecology. Ratt is currently working on a new hand-drawn story about a woman from Namibia who decided to move to France. This story raises the topic of migration.

In addition to the opportunity to purchase comics and see the authors of their favorite drawn stories, the guests of the festival were offered to admire a bright light and sound performance and a parade of balloons. The organizers also decided to please everyone with the show, which featured giant comic book characters. Children who decided to attend this festival were invited to try to compose their own drawn history, to try themselves in this art form.
