Recently, the well-known Hollywood actor and environmentalist Leonardo DiCaprio is not very lucky and he gets from one scandal to another. And although in reality nothing fundamentally "new" has happened to Leo, more and more supporters of his activities express disappointment on the basis that the words and actions of the star, as it turned out, are seriously at variance.
Leo recently spoke at the Scottish Business Awards in Scotland. There, DiCaprio gave a speech urging everyone to switch to a vegetarian diet. The actor also supported the documentary Cowspiracy. It says that the production of meat, eggs and dairy products is more harmful to the environment than the emissions of exhaust gases.
All would be fine, but just after speaking at the ceremony on the topic of environmental protection and vegetarianism, DiCaprio went to The Chop and Ale House restaurant, where he was caught eating meat. In fact, this is not the first time that "vegetarian" DiCaprio is "caught" eating animal products. More often than not, all these data were confirmed not only by eyewitnesses, but also by employees of these very restaurants.
Not so long ago, the Swiss Bruno Manser Foundation, which deals with environmental issues, called Leo's environmental activities cynicism. Local representatives accused him of corruption and demanded that he relinquish his status as a UN goodwill envoy on environmental issues.
