SBU denies the ban to the actor Sadalsky to enter Ukraine

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) today at the official level denied information regarding the fact that the Russian actor Stanislav Sadalsky was allegedly banned from entering the territory of the state. The corresponding statement, in particular, is contained in the publication of the press service of the department. SBU representatives emphasized: "Currently, Sadalsky is not prohibited from entering."

We will remind that earlier, namely on February 4, the actor announced that he was not allowed to enter Ukraine. As evidence, he demonstrated a statement by a public organization from Odessa called “Rada of Community Bezpeki” (“Public Security Council”). In it, activists appeal to the SBU with a demand to ban the actor from entering the country because of his "anti-Ukrainian attitude", as well as performances in Crimea in 2016.

Recall that Stanislav Sadalsky is an Honored Artist of the RSFSR, People's Artist of Georgia and Chuvashia. First of all, he is known to the domestic audience for such films as "The meeting place cannot be changed" and "Say a word about the poor hussar." He also starred in the films Station for Two, Torpedo Bombers and Poor Masha.

Separately, we add that in recent years, the Kiev authorities have restricted the entry of a fairly large number of cultural figures into the country. On the territory of the country, many Russian and Soviet films and TV series were also banned, which, according to the SBU, "are propagandized by the power structures of the Russian Federation."
