Jamie Ghio Sanches and Mike Braunewell are the founders of Gibraltar-based Sworddesign. Among other projects, designers are engaged in the completion and modification of electric guitars, turning them into real art objects, one of a kind.
Both designers are passionate about music, and both have done car tuning in the past. Having become friends thanks to a common circle of interests, they decided to join forces and together open their own business, armed with the skills of modeling and airbrushing. In addition to guitars, Sworddesign develops custom designs for motorcycle helmets, bicycles and cars.
The process of creating a unique guitar begins with technical design, since, first of all, the instrument must be working, not lose its sound and remain ergonomic. At this stage, the distribution of roles also occurs. Usually Jamie is responsible for the carvings and everything related to the electronic settings of the instrument, while Mike is in charge of decorating and painting. Also, as needed, they both do 3-D modeling.
Mostly Mike and Jamie have to work with wood, but, of course, the choice of improvised tools is not limited to this. In addition to the base material, they use different types of rubber and plastic, and sometimes metal.
Obviously, aesthetics play a key role in their work, but there are two important technical points that they try to constantly keep in mind during the design and execution of the order.
Firstly, if a guitar weighs too much or takes on a too complex shape, the musician becomes uncomfortable to hold it in his hands, which means that it loses its main purpose. Secondly, every change in appearance inevitably affects the sound, therefore, it must be compensated for by increased attention to the selection, installation and tuning of electronics.
Most of Mike and Jamie's electric guitars are still quite brutal, so it is quite possible that fans of more delicate visualization will like the work of the Argentine artist Pes de Tierra, who is engaged in artistic painting of acoustic guitar bodies.

For people whose meaning in life is music, it is often the favorite musical instrument that becomes the joy and outlet that others find in love, family, care and children. In some cases, the guitar is even called the bride, thus making fun of its owner. Portraits from poetry and prose. Pictures of Jamie Poole (Jamie Poole) from pieces of literature
When they talk about a verbal portrait, they mean, as a rule, a verbal description of a person, his appearance, qualities, habits, character traits. Whereas the "verbal portraits" of the British artist Jamie Poole cannot be called verbal, because they can be seen, touched, picked up, and some even read. True, with difficulty, since all these creative works were created from tens of thousands of words and sentences that were once printed and then cut out from newspapers, I will brochure
