Today in Russia street art art, which until recently was perceived as nothing more than hooliganism, began to develop rapidly. Gone are the days when street artists were illegal. Society has come to understand that street art can beautify cities, bring something new and unusual to the gray appearance of city streets.

The work of a young artist from Serpukhov near Moscow, Roman Muratkin, who is known under the pseudonym Remo, attracts with an unusual pictorial style, which fundamentally distinguishes his work from the work of domestic and foreign street artists.

The artist himself calls his unique creative find - “semi-stained glass style”. Large-scale work performed in this manner arouses not only admiration, but also an awareness of how laborious, costly and difficult, in terms of technical support, work.

Most impressive are the portraits painted in his characteristic technique: many elements and bright colors that create the effect of a stained glass window. The picture seems to be composed of small multi-colored pieces of glass, as a result of which the image looks abstract at close range, but appears as a stained glass portrait from afar.

The novel subtly feels the beauty in what is usually considered commonplace, looking for inspiration in people, cityscapes, and ancient buildings. He turns an ordinary gray wall into a work of art: colorful and meaningful.
