The famous singer Zemfira went to court with a lawsuit against the popular writer Yevgeny Grishkovets, who called her a drug addict. The Dozhd TV channel was involved in the court as a third party.
It is known that the singer is demanding 1.5 million rubles in a lawsuit. The reason to go to court was the TV program "Bi Koz", on the air of which Grishkevets expressed his negative opinion about the recently released new album by Zemfira "Borderline"
“When a person allows himself everything, when he decides the question“I can do everything,”I can pull out of myself anything, everything without exception: all my drug nightmares and all my drug egoism and lay it out to those people who have been waiting for eight years at least something,”the writer said. He added that Zemfira records "drug addict songs" because she is a drug addict.
The lawsuit filed by the singer says that the words of Grishkovets "are defamatory." The document states that they negatively affected the reputation of the artist, who began to suffer from insomnia and nervous breakdowns. Zemfira also demanded that Grishkovets refute everything that was said on the air of Dozhd.
Later, the writer Yevgeny Grishkovets apologized to the singer Zemfira for speaking about her album Borderline in the Bi Koz program on Dozhd, after which the artist filed a lawsuit for 1.5 million rubles. This is reported by the TV channel, which published a video of apology.
According to Grishkovets, his statement happened on the air of Dozhd. The host of the program, Maxim Kozyrev, did not agree with him, and the discussion "turned on the heat."
“I regretted my statement during the conversation. He did not regret it because of fears of legal consequences and scandal. I regretted that I was categorical, rude, allowed myself anger / (…) I regretted and regret that my words caused the worries and mental anguish of Zemfira herself and her loyal fans,”he added.
Grishkovets added that the lawsuit from Zemfira caused him amazement and he did not expect such actions. However, he refused to talk about the reasons for his statement.
