So, according to him, the picture will tell about the prehistory of the events now described. There will be no "old" characters in the new series, since they are going to devote it to a fundamentally different period in the history of the fictional Westeros.
Commenting on the situation with the "Game of Thrones" itself, Blois said that to date, the project management has not yet been able to decide on the format of the last, 8th season, in particular, with how many episodes it will have. Blois himself said that he did not care what decision the project management would make and that he, as well as the rest of the team, would work with what they were given.
Recall that at the moment work is underway on the creation of the seventh season of the series, which will consist of fewer episodes than usual. The new season builds on an as-yet-unfinished book by George Martin from the A Song of Ice and Fire novels. According to official information, the shooting began later than usual, due to the fact that the film crew, due to the plot features of the new season, needed very cloudy and the most gloomy weather.
Meanwhile, the last season has become one of the most expensive, both for the saga and among television series in general. Moreover, in episode 9 of season 6, the creators of Game of Thrones staged the largest battle scene in television history.
