People, like magpies, love everything sparkling and shiny. Therefore, there is nothing surprising in the fact that the exhibition held in the gallery Salone Satellite exposition of luminous sculptures by a Japanese author Makoto Tojiki became so popular. The sculptural installation is called No shadow and consists of several figures made up of filaments of multi-colored LEDs. Red, green, blue images of a man, a horse, a bird in a cage are interesting not only because they remind of the New Year's celebration and garlands on the Christmas tree. They look like they are ghosts floating in the air, or a fantastic teleportation process takes the figure right here, under the feet of the audience.
LEDs strung on long strings and hung at a certain distance from each other form a three-dimensional image of a particular figure. Demonstrating his installations in the dark, the author achieves the desired effect, since darkness hides all distracting objects and phenomena, and nothing prevents the viewer from enjoying the fantastic spectacle. The figures hanging in the air flicker mysteriously in the dark, then go out, then reappear … Of course, the greatest effect occurs when you see the process of "teleportation" in action. It is shown in the following video:
