She dreamed of becoming an actress and stubbornly walked towards her goal, overcoming all the obstacles that arose on the way. Ekaterina Savinova, who played Frosya Burlakova in the film Come Tomorrow, has been waiting for this role for 14 long years. And a few years after the premiere, she voluntarily left where they are not returning.
The first steps towards a dream
She was born in the Altai in the small village of Yeltsovka in December 1926 into a peasant family. The usual village fate awaited her: marriage, household, vegetable garden, children. But the girl was not ready to put up with such a fate.
When she was four years old, she already had her own audience. Mom and older sister somehow could not find Katyusha, and the neighbors said that her youth had carried her to Kolokolchik, a rock on the banks of the Chumysh River. And there young people put the baby in the center of the circle and ordered her songs. And right there over the river the strong voice of little Katya Savinova was heard.
Katya's family was not poor, the girl even had a gramophone. She listened to the songs and could reproduce them surprisingly easily. She had an amazing voice, three and a half octaves, but she was not attracted to the singing career. She wanted to be a film actress.
Moscow does not believe in tears
In August 1944, she went to Moscow to study. Katyusha's mother, packing her daughter on the road, exchanged the last potatoes for a blue woolen dress with a white collar. And almost all the villagers came out to see the girl off. Many persuaded her to stay, not to go to a strange and unfamiliar city. But Katya could not change herself.
She went to the station in a cart, into which she was loaded with a simple fiber suitcase tied with a rope. And then Katyusha was very scared of the train, which was noisy and puffing. She could not imagine how this monster on wheels would take her to the capital. But there was a dream ahead. And the girl got into her carriage.
What was the disappointment of Ekaterina Savinova when she realized that she was late. The selection committee of VGIK has already completed its work. I had to go home. But the girl decided to try her luck again. She will try to get a job, and in a year she will hand over the documents to VGIK.
Katya was lucky, she was admitted to the land management institute. And persistent Catherine began to follow what was happening at VGIK. Luck smiled at her again: just six months later, she entered the acting course with the teacher Vasily Vanin.
Ekaterina Savinova was strikingly different from her classmates. Modest, even shy, she always kept herself apart. And Vanin could not see the actress in the girl and expelled her from the course. He believed that she could be a stage actress, but cinema was not for her. But Katya was not going to give up. Six months later, she became a student at VGIK on the course of Boris Bibikov and Olga Pyzhova.
The tragedy of the first role
She had a complete understanding with Boris Bibikov and Olga Pyzhova. And at the graduation performance, she brilliantly coped with the age role and received an invitation to work at the Moscow Art Theater, one from the entire course.
But Katya did not go to the Moscow Art Theater. She dreamed of a movie. Moreover, Evgeny Tashkov, with whom she had a very warm relationship, was not invited to the theater. After graduation, she married him, and in 1957 Andryusha was born to them.
In the last year of the institute, in 1949, she starred in Pyryev's film "Kuban Cossacks". The girl played with full dedication. But unfortunately, the director, who was also the director of Mosfilm, turned his attention to her. Not at all as an actress, but as a charming young girl.
Katya indignantly rejected the director's claims. And in response, he closed her all the way to Mosfilm. She was offered to act only in episodes. According to the actors, Pyriev put Katya Savinova on the black list of the film studio.
Come back tomorrow…
But Katya again showed her best, one might say, fighting qualities. She graduated from the Gnessin Institute in vocal class. And again she received an invitation to work in the theater. This time at the Bolshoi. But Katya Savinova refused again. For her, there was only cinema.
In 1963, her husband, Evgeny Tashkov, realizing that she could not live without cinema, decided to shoot Katya Savinova himself. The main character of the film "Come tomorrow …" Frosya Burlakova was written off from Catherine herself. She and her husband wrote the script themselves.
At the same time, the film itself was filmed secretly from Pyriev, at the Odessa film studio. And even there they tried to ban the shooting, but the director managed to convince the critics and the studio management that it was necessary to finish shooting. The film was an incredible success, Katya was happy, she received the award for the best actress of the year.
Step into the abyss
At the beginning of filming "Come tomorrow …" the actress felt bad. She was not immediately diagnosed correctly. It turned out that she contracted brucellosis after drinking fresh milk. The infection hit her nervous system. According to the recollections of colleagues, she was often dizzy, fever. But the worst thing is that she often began to fall into some kind of prostration and hear voices.
During periods of remission, she realized that she was becoming a burden for her family and friends. Sunny, smiling Katya Savinova became more and more withdrawn into herself. One day she just packed a small suitcase and went to her older sister in Novosibirsk. She cleaned and washed everything at her sister's house. And she went to the station. To step under the train. Her husband almost immediately turned to the Patriarchate for the funeral service for his wife. And he got permission, because an unhealthy person could not be considered a suicide. Ekaterina Savinova was only 43 years old.
Ekaterina Savinova suffered because of her maiden pride, and why did she suffer Mikhail Vodyanoy, who got the real harassment in the press?

All people love to dream. Especially in childhood. Then we grow up and begin to believe that the time of dreams has passed, we need to live a real life. Here the most important trap awaits us, for reality is by no means what surrounds us. We create reality ourselves, and if it is not as rosy as we would like, it is still only the fruit of our ideas, thoughts and actions. Dreams, on the other hand, help people achieve those heights that they passionately desire to achieve. The story of a cherished childhood dream that came true, further in
Which predictions of the futurists of the 1950s have already come true, and which will come true soon: distance learning, drones, etc
Futurology is a very interesting teaching that is at the intersection of science, art and common sense. It has nothing to do with predictions, since futurologists always carefully follow technical innovations and try to guess the vector of human development. Sometimes it works out well, and then we admire their perspicacity, sometimes the trends are guessed wrong, and in that case it looks funny. Not so long ago, another direction has become fashionable - retrofuturism, - the study of prog
8 talented Soviet actresses, whose fate and career were broken by directors: Marina Ladynina, Ekaterina Savinova, etc
It is believed that in the days of the USSR, everything was fair, and for a person who dreamed of conquering the world of cinema, it was enough just to have talent. We will not argue with this, but we note that even in the world of art at all times ordinary people have worked, to whom nothing human is alien, including weakness. Therefore, the history of Soviet cinema knows many examples when the fate of talented and beautiful actresses went downhill just because they did not find a common language with the directors
