Who would have thought that in such a clean, beautiful, well-groomed European city like Venice, on the streets you could stumble upon huge pieces of chewing gum? And it would be fine if they were just lying around, thrown out by a slob-chewer, otherwise everything is much more complicated. Somewhere a piece of gum blocked the passage, somewhere it stuck to the asphalt and melted, becoming a huge puddle, or even impudently sticks out in the middle of the street like a pillar … By the way, the sculptor Simone Decker is blamed for this incident.
In order to "litter" in Italy, Simon specially came from Frankfurt, because all these pieces of gum are nothing more than creative sculptures and installations prepared by him for the Venice Biennale.
A talented sculptor and artist, he treated his installations with humor. So, on the streets of Venice, not only puddles of gum appeared, but also bubbles and other colorful figures that are obtained from chewed and stretched chewing gum.
Curiously, after the Biennale ended, the sculptures were removed from the Venetian streets, or do they still surprise and shock passers-by and guests of the city with their appearance?

Sculptures from meat. Unusual creativity of Simone Racheli (Simone Racheli)
It was always interesting to me: here are the authors of projects consisting of food - they either love to eat so much that they even prefer to create from edible food, or for one reason or another they abstain from gluttony, and therefore at least take their souls for buns, cakes, fruits and vegetables? A rhetorical question, I suppose, but nevertheless there is a significant reason to once again ask it to myself and to the Italian artist Simone Racheli. In his project "Meat" products, he
