American Brett Herbst can be called the "King of the Corn". And it's not that he produces the most of this product in the world! No, he is not a farmer at all! But for more than fifteen years he has been drawing gigantic drawings in corn fields, which can only be seen from a great height! While ufologists and representatives of other similar trends in "science" argue about the nature of crop circles, artists and adventurers around the world smile and paint these "mysterious" images. One of these authors is the American Brett Herbst. For his creative work, he even received the nickname "King of the Corn"!
For more than fifteen years, Herbst has been engaged in an unusual form of visual art. He doesn't paint on paper or even on walls. His canvas is huge fields of corn, which, as a result of Brett's work, become paintings.
Brett Herbst neatly cuts or stacks the corn so that giant designs appear in the fields. Their topics can be completely different. Some of the artist's works are devoted to the theme of "Star Wars", but he is not limited to this theme exclusively.
The artist in his "corn" art is inspired by advertising posters, movie blockbusters, modern literature and classics of world fiction - the range of his interests is practically unlimited.
To create his large-scale, Brett Herbst uses a GPS-navigator, CorelDRAW program and specially designed software for his purposes, which allows you to create drawings and help in their creation.
Each of Herbst's corn paintings is a maze that should take a person about three hours to complete. Moreover, for navigation around this object, QR codes are placed in its key places, when reading them you can get a hint about where to go in order to get out of there.
