The musician was very grateful to modern technologies that helped doctors identify problems with his lungs in the early stages, when this problem can still be solved. He also thanked all the doctors who took part in his treatment. Ronnie Wood began his musical career back in 1964. Then he entered as a guitarist in a group from London called The Birds. He also wrote songs or helped write them. Half of all the compositions of this group were written by Wood or with his help. The Birds disbanded in 1967. Then Ronnie became the bassist of The Jeff Beck Group, at the same time he worked with another musical group - The Creation. Musician Ronnie Wood joined the British rock band The Rolling Stones in 1974. More than 250 million copies of the albums of this group have been released worldwide, which in 1989 was even included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. According to the Rolling Stones magazine in 2004, this musical group was ranked fourth among the fifty greatest artists of all time.
