Based on one of the most famous car concerns Volkswagen a real architectural miracle appeared - "City of cars", Autostadt. The Germans managed to build the world's largest car delivery center, which consists of two glass towers. Brand new "people's cars" directly from the factory go through a conveyor belt to these exhibition centers.
Such an architectural design is convenient, first of all, because it allows you to place a large number of cars in a relatively small area. Each tower is 60 m high and accommodates 400 vehicles. Autostadt is connected to the factory via a 700-meter underground tunnel. A special lift inside the towers "places" the newly arrived cars in tiers.
Choosing a car, customers can use a glass lift to go up to the twentieth floor, from where a beautiful panorama of the plant itself, as well as the town of Wolfsburg, opens. The demand for Volkswagen cars, famous for their creative advertising, is constantly growing, according to statistics, last year 37% of cars were bought from Autostadt. If this continues, the company's management plans to build two more high-tech towers here.

A botanical garden instead of a museum. Exhibition of glass sculptures by Hans Godot Frabel
A trip to the museum, sadly enough, does not cause any enthusiasm among many: an enclosed space, dusty exhibits hidden behind glass … exhibition halls. An original solution to the problem was found in Richmond (Virginia): the role of the museum was played by the botanical garden, on the territory of which works of art were placed - glass works by Hans Godo Frabel.
