The new achievement of Cube Works in terms of its scale surpasses all previous ones: it took 85,794 cubes to create a mosaic in the Chinese city of Macau.
The previous "record" Cube Works Cubes mosaics - "The Last Supper" and "The Hand of God" - took just over 4 and 12 thousand Rubik's cubes, respectively. More than 85 thousand cubes, which have become "bricks" in the new majestic art object of artists from Toronto, formed a structure about 4 meters high and 60 - wide.
Mosaic under a laconic title Macau mural was installed on the Macau waterfront. "Our work is designed to inspire, connect and engage people by using their nostalgic feelings - we use familiar objects, but present them from a completely unexpected angle," - says the leader of Cube Works Josh Chalom.
