Film company 20th Century Fox decided to perpetuate the iconic image of John McLain - a fighter against terrorists performed by Bruce Willis from the film franchise "Toughie" … A giant fresco was painted on one of the buildings of the film company in the shortest possible time, exactly repeating the famous frame from the first "Nut".
The unusual stunt is also intended to draw attention to the new episode of McLain's adventures - the fifth film in the series, Die Hard. Good Day to Die. Even fans of the new parts of "Nut", however, agree that the first film directed by John McTiernan and released in 1988 was the best.
The building, owned by 20th Century Fox, now flaunts the huge size of Bruce Willis - young and not bald, with a lighter in his hands. In the original "Nut" it was in this position that John McLain crawled through the ventilation shafts of a skyscraper, which was seized by mercantile terrorists led by Hans Gruber.
Bruce Willis personally honored the opening ceremony of the fresco with his presence. In his speech, the actor, who personally tore off the tarpaulin from the wall behind which the graffiti was hidden, indulged in memories. "I never noticed how these 25 years have flown by since the release of the first film," - said Willis, and also reminded everyone why John McLain is so consistently popular: "He is not a superhero. He is a regular guy that everyone can associate with. ".
Bruce Willis also noted that the reason for the success "Die Hard" - in the simplicity and sense of humor of the protagonist. Representatives of the film studio, meanwhile, noticed that the "simple and funny" hero has already become "a legendary part of Hollywood history." This is probably why Bruce Willis, who has no end to interesting offers, remains loyal to John McLain.

It's hard to believe, but these realistic paintings were made not in oil or watercolors, but with ordinary ballpoint pens
“All I have is just eight colored ballpoint pens,” says self-taught Portuguese artist Samuel Silva, who creates stunningly realistic paintings that are so hard to distinguish from photographs. According to the author, he never mixes colors, but only applies several layers of ink with strokes so that the illusion of mixing and various colors is obtained, which he actually does not have
