Hong Kong-based sculptor Johnson Cheung-shing Tsang specializes in ceramics, stainless steel sculptures and public art installations. He dedicated a porcelain sculpture entitled "The Vessel of Pain" to his native country. By photographing each stage of the creative process, the sculptor made it possible to trace how this amazing work was created.
Tsang prefers to use realistic technique in his work. However, by combining human images with images of various objects, he gets completely surreal results. According to the sculptor, the most intense and exciting and frightening moment in the work occurs when the oven door is opened.
