Of course, many of us keep our blogs and blogs about different things and do it all in different ways. Someone comes to write a small report once a month, someone frantically scribbles several times a day. Sometimes it's amazing how different people side by side in the same friend feed, and photographer Gabriela Herman managed to create an interesting photo project around this topic.
I think many of us have memories of being overly addicted to the internet. For example, you woke up at a friend's house at 4 in the morning, you go to the kitchen to drink a glass of water, and you find her there, enthusiastically scribbling something in her LJ, of course, she has not yet gone to bed. Yeah bloggers so different, and in the characters of Gabriela Herman, this contrast is shown very successfully.
Among the works of talented photographers of recent times, many are devoted to any specific groups of people. For example, Vihao Pham's beautiful work, capturing ballerinas against the backdrop of rural and urban landscapes, or Olaf Browning's project dedicated to modern subcultures. Gabriela Herman chose bloggers as heroes of her project.
Gabriela Herman is known in the United States and beyond for always being very easygoing with the subjects of her photographs. She was born in Newton, Massachusetts and now lives in Brooklyn. Throughout her life, she has exhibited in many countries, and almost never parted with the camera. She had breakfast in cozy cafes in France, got lost in the main squares of Mexico, learned to dance samba in Brazil, and all this - with a camera in her hands, well, or in a bag. So different bloggers are just one of her projects.
Gabriela Herman's work is talented and very easy to understand. In the case of bloggers, its goal is to show how different they are, even though the internet makes them one and the same. In the case of other works by Gabriela, try to figure it out yourself by visiting her website.

How they hunted witches in different countries and at different periods of history
The witch hunt and subsequent trials against them (whether for political or religious reasons) have always been truly scary. Throughout world history, innocent people (in the overwhelming majority of cases they were women) were interrogated, punished, tortured, raped and even killed, provided that they did at least something related to the occult or witchcraft. Perverse and strange punishments for these people were often excruciatingly slow and certainly
So the same, and so different. Photo project "One is not like the other" by Jocelyn Allen
From childhood, the child is told how he looks like his mother, father, grandfather, great-grandmother, older brother, or even sister. When the baby grows up, those around him again begin to look for similarities with relatives in him, but already in character, habits and actions. Well, who has never heard the phrase "you behave the same as your mother," abandoned in their hearts by an angry father, or "you are the spitting image of a father" - already from your mother? Milk with the sea: a photo project about mermaids from different countries by Hana Vojackova
It is customary to say “blood and milk” about girls who are full of health and beauty, but about the mermaids who are photographed by Hana Vojackova, we can safely say “milk from the sea”. This is the name of a series of funny pictures that capture girls with fish tails
"Created by Equals": a scandalous photo project about completely different and at the same time so similar people
This photo project was released back in 2012, when fashion photographer Mark Laita created the provocative Created Equal series. With his project, he decided to remind humanity that completely different people live in the world, but at the same time they must have something in common. Perhaps to some, these pictures will seem politically incorrect, but in fact they reflect the essence of life
