It is always pleasant to look at the new creations of talented painters and photographers, of whom, fortunately, there are still plenty. But interesting works made from more unusual materials - for example, glass - are much less common. Ellen Urselmann, the master of this piece, gives us the opportunity to look at familiar objects from a different angle, placing them in the most delicate glass shell.
Looking at these delicate bubbles of glass, you know - only a woman is capable of this. Ellen Urselmann managed to make a masterpiece out of a simple dart, simply declaring it a glass dome, which looks so fragile and weightless that it seems to be about to fly away with the dart.
Of course, there are comparatively fewer works of glass than works in the field of photography and fine arts. However, some works - for example, lurid Brazilian glass or Andy Paiko glass mechanisms, once seen, it is impossible to forget. Ellen Urselmann's installations do not seem so complicated, but this is their absolute plus. These glass bubbles are one of the positive examples of minimalism in art.
On the Internet, many sites write about her, but very little, doing mainly with her work. Apparently, the artist lives in the Netherlands and there she exhibits her work in different galleries and in the framework of various events. Of course, her work is not limited to this installation - what Ellen did not do from glass! And necklaces, and cities under the dome, and much more. Unfortunately, she does not have a website, so it will not be possible to find the whole range of her magnificent works in one place.

Glass knitting. Art-glass by Erwin Timmers
Looking at the abundance of knitted works of art, it seems that the designers, as one, suddenly remembered that they were once taught to knit, and began to revive their former skills. The artist discussed in this article, Erwin Timmers, is also into knitting, but in a specific way. He is called a "glass designer" because he knows how to get amazing things out of this complex, naughty and very fragile material. Accordingly, he has the same knitting
Bohemian glass engraving. Glass art by Heather Gillespie
Glass is like honey: if you melt it, it will be just as transparent and thick, viscous and malleable. Probably, this association became one of the reasons why the British artist Heather Gillespie prefers to work with glass, and she chose the appropriate specialization at the local university - an engraver on glass, and not on any glass, but on the famous Bohemian
Stained Glass Park - a park of glass and color in Montreal
Parks and gardens are completely different. Sometimes, there is nothing in common between them! Let us compare at least an ordinary orchard with a Japanese rock garden. So in Montreal, the Stained Glass Park recently appeared, created by the studio Atomic3, which, despite its name, has little resemblance to the "traditional" park
Bubbles, bubbles on the table
Even the most beautiful wooden table can hardly be called a work of art, although sometimes it happens. However, some designers know how to turn their idea into a miracle. Liana Yaroslavskaya, our compatriot, knows
