Have you ever wondered, while spreading jam on toast in the morning, that it can be done somehow more artistically? For example, like Nathan Wyburn (Nathan Wyburn), who jams portraits of celebrities on toasted slices of bread.
Nathan Wyburn is a 20-year-old resident of South Wales. The guy is studying fine arts at the university, and once, as a thesis, he presented portraits painted with ketchup and liquid chocolate. Someone will consider such actions a waste of products, but the representatives of the international coffee chain Costa Coffee liked Wyburn's creativity, and they invited the student to participate in the design of one of their establishments.
Nathan Wyburn's job was to draw the attention of passers-by to the emergence of new breakfasts in the coffee shop. Therefore, it is not at all surprising that such traditional breakfast materials as toast and jam were chosen for creativity. Outside, the shop windows of the cafe were lined with a mosaic of 700 toasted slices of bread, on which Nathan Wyburn painted five portraits - right in front of amazed passers-by. By the way, the heroes of the "paintings", including the football player David Beckham and the singer Cheryl Cole, are not random people. These are the celebrities with whom most Britons have expressed their desire to have breakfast.
You can watch the creation of portraits live in the following video.
