Amy Clarke Moore creates paintings, but she does it in a very unconventional way - she "paints" with beads. The craftswoman sews the beads onto the fabric in the same way as the artist puts stroke after stroke on the canvas. The technique also makes her paintings unusual - Amy sews beads not in even rows, but in a spiral.
Born in 1969 in Boulder, Colorado, the son of a language professorship and watercolor artist, Amy grew up surrounded by literature and visual arts. Such an atmosphere, naturally, could not but affect the sphere of interests of children: Amy's brother followed in his mother's footsteps and now paints watercolors, her sister became a photographer, and the heroine of our article was carried away by beadwork.
Amy started creating bead paintings in 1998 as part of the Beadwork magazine project. The creative process captivated the craftswoman so much that she has not left this occupation until now. Currently the editor of Spin-Off magazine, Amy continues to create her little masterpieces. Moreover, she is already beginning to involve her three-year-old daughter in beadwork.
Her themes emerged from a passionate interest in mythology, fairy tales and creativity. There is something philosophical about Amy Clarke Moore's work. Each bead can be compared to a thought, and the spiral path in Amy's paintings is like the flow of time itself, where each next moment flows from the previous one …
Ideas for works are born in the head of the craftswoman suddenly, and Amy always carries a notebook with her, at any moment ready to make a draft of a future picture. Recently, Amy has taken a great interest in photography, and now instead of drafts - when possible - she takes photographs, which she focuses on during the embroidery process. The craftswoman claims that she never stops working on paintings: even when she sleeps, her subconscious continues to work, pondering this or that difficult moment.

Paintings painted with paint and gravity. Experimental painting by Amy Shackleton
Canadian 25-year-old artist Amy Shackleton is far from the first artist who does not use brushes in his painting, completely and completely without them. We remember the palette knife painting of Leonid Afremov and the Vietnamese author Phan Thu Trang, the paintings of Tim Patch, painted with a penis, and Natalie Irish, who paints with her lips. And Amy Shackleton helps to create paintings by gravity
Amy Saul paintings: girls, animals and dreams
Amy Sol paints delicate, whimsical, fantasy worlds. Dreamy girls live in these worlds, surrounded by exotic plants, nonexistent trees, fogs, clouds and outlandish flowers. However, fragile girls are not the only inhabitants of the artist's paintings. Animals are sure to be near them, and not as pets or wild predators, but rather as friends or even family members
