It often happens that the simpler the material, the more original and inventive works are obtained from it. And, of course, paper has no equal in this regard. After all, this is one of the most inexpensive materials that, thanks to the talent of the masters, can be turned into real works of art. Dutch designer Paula Arntzen is one of the people who love paper and experiment with it with might and main.
Paula studied the properties and capabilities of paper for a long time and finally decided to apply her deep knowledge of this material and her understanding of its specific characteristics. This knowledge gave the designer the chance to demonstrate to the general public his talent for turning ordinary paper into objects of any shape. One of Paula's most successful works is a paper lantern installation at Arnhem Mode Biënnale 2009.
Paula Arntzen draws inspiration for her work primarily from everyday observations, collecting information and transforming it into another successful project. Designer paper lamps, functional and decorative at the same time, can decorate any room or event.
Paula Arntzen graduated from Artez Academy, where she was considered one of the best students. She was also selected to participate in Talent 2009, an event where 125 of the best graduates from all over Europe present their work.

Serum of Truth, Monkey-Human Crossbreeding: Truth and Myths About Scientific Experiments Under Stalin
If in the land of the Soviets they did not know how to do something, then they definitely should not classify information. Crazy experiments in the USSR: real and fictional
Some of the Soviet experiments are just insane, especially those between the two world wars. Some pushed science forward like the creation of two-headed dogs, others seemed to be useless from the very beginning. Anyway, everyone could be a part of a comic book plot or a movie about mad scientists
