Within the framework of the Simple Things project, the Chobotobachennya design competition was held. “Simple Things” is a project on the theme of transforming simple things into a work of art.
Others hereCreate a project. After participating in various competitions, there was a desire to do something of my own to reflect our ideas. Therefore, a certain initiative group has gathered with an unrestrained desire to create, to create something emotional, creative, non-standard and in something new. This is how the idea of the Simple Things project was born. “Simple Things” is a project on the theme of transforming simple things into a work of art.
The first manifestation of the Simple Things project is the Chobotobachennya design competition. Designers, graphic artists, decorators were offered a rubber boot for reflection and turning it into something new and unique. Why a boot? The boot is quite familiar to everyone as its direct use and quite an unusual item for exhibiting at the exhibition. The main idea of the exhibition, competition is to unite people in creativity, to unite graphic artists, designers, decorators, because everyone works within their own specific framework, and the idea of an exhibition, competition is not to limit anyone either by theme, material or even color. Without putting any frames (except for the boot), we received works that reflect the authors themselves, everyone did the work as they wanted and how they wanted.
The concept of "Simple things" is that it doesn't matter what, but how it matters. And the very idea of making something out of a rubber boot excites the mind.

How in the USSR, women's boots with zippers were invented
There is an opinion that only imported clothes were fashionable in the USSR. Domestic coats, jackets, shoes, dresses and so on did not delight people. Huge queues were lined up for clothes of foreign manufacturers, speculation flourished. Yes, it was like that. Unfortunately, Soviet designers could not bring their ideas to life due to the lack of interesting fabrics, materials and accessories. However, there is one invention that was made by a Soviet person and became a real sensation in the fashion world
How Martins became the most famous boots in the world
These coarse, high lace-up boots have long gone beyond the subcultures and have become true classics. Today "Martins" are combined with romantic dresses and classic suits, they are worn by Hollywood actresses and ordinary schoolgirls, businessmen and students. However, the most famous boots in the history of mankind have a rich and unusual history
Where did the boots, the ushanka hat and other things come from, which are considered primordially Russian, but in fact they are not
Some things are considered primordially Russian, although in reality this is not at all the case. If they had not received their second birth in Russia, then perhaps today only historians would know about them. It's great when the best inventions become available to people. It doesn't matter who invented them. It is important that they bring joy and benefit to people. Read about felt boots, which were actually invented by Iranian nomads, about the famous Gzhel, which became such thanks to Chinese porcelain, and about a hat with earflaps, which
Who taught the Russians how to make felt boots, and Why even maids of honor and emperors wore these shoes
In the established perception, felt boots are associated with Russian culture. But in fairness it is worth knowing that the prototype came to us with the Golden Horde. Felted footwear of those times did not resemble the felt boots known to us. Well, the recognizable one-piece felt boot spread in the Russian Empire only by the beginning of the 19th century. And this pleasure, I must say, was expensive. Not every peasant could afford to wear felt boots, and a groom with such a dowry aroused special interest in the circles of brides. Shaft
Elton John's craziest shoes: Platforms, stilts, winged boots, etc
Are the shoes in a museum of modern art? Yes, if these are Sir Elton John's boots! Perhaps his extravagant style attracts attention no less than his musical talent. His flamboyant concert costumes have become a legend, his extensive eyewear collection is admirable, and his shoe collection numbers several hundred pairs. And each of them has its own story
