Since childhood, Randall D. Bonny has had respect for nature and protected its world. If a tree dies, or if it is about to fall, it feels that it preserves its beauty and, most importantly, its memory, carving in its trunk a wide variety of animals and birds: bears, foxes, horses, eagle owls, turkeys, owls, chipmunks and raccoons.
The most incredible thing in the life story of Randall D. Boni is that during the first 30 years of his life, he and his twin brother were blind, and only surgery completely allowed him to see the world with his own eyes and enjoy its colors and greatness. Now the sculptor lives, getting great pleasure from his creative process. In the process of giving birth to wooden animals and birds, which he skillfully carves with a chainsaw, Randall D. Boni always welcomes visitors and just casual spectators who stop to admire his work. Boni views the woodcarving process itself as a visual dialogue. When he sees people looking at him, wielding a saw, and smiling, it is a soundless "thank you" that he is awarded.
