Today we are not going to admire Japanese animators, French artists and British photographers. We have enough talents of our own, except that their PR is not as powerful as that of our foreign colleagues. And since spring is officially ending today, and vacation plans, as well as beach dresses with panama hats, are waiting in the wings, let's turn to exclusively summer creativity, which is based on shells, sand and the sun of the Yalta sky.
In Ukraine, in the city of Dnepropetrovsk, the artist Svetlana Ivanchenko lives and works. And although she does not always depict hot summer on her canvases, her paintings are still sunny and smell of the sea, since the author "paints" them not with paints, but with sand, shells and small sea pebbles. Recently, Svetlana held an exhibition in Dnepropetrovsk where one could see these and other works.
Perhaps the unusual performance of the works is partly due to the fact that the artist was born and raised in the Crimea, in Yalta, on the Black Sea coast. And she brought her love for the sun and the beach with her to Dnepropetrovsk and "splashed" it on the canvas in the form of sand-shell masterpieces. It's a pity that Svetlana does not have her own site with an online gallery. So for everyone who wants to get to know her work better, I recommend buying a ticket to Dnepropetrovsk:) By the way, not only Ukrainians and Russians fell in love with the artist's works - many paintings found their owners abroad, in particular, in the United States, Germany, Portugal, Italy, France and the Dominican Republic.

"Sand Sorceress". Artist Ksenia Simonova and paintings painted with sand
Until last year, the Ukrainian artist Ksenia Simonova was an unknown graphic artist living in the resort town of Evpatoria. But at the competition "Ukraine Got Talent", where Ksenia took part in the past 2009, the world-wide fame and wealth came to the girl. After all, it was she who became the winner of this competition and the owner of the prize of a million dollars. That is how much the talent to create sand paintings and to perform whole performances in front of many thousands of people costs
