On the TV channel HBO in March they intend to show a film with the title "Leaving Neverland". This is a controversial documentary about Michael Jackson's new pedophilia charges. In this regard, the other day, the family of the king of pop music filed a statement of claim.

Michael Jackson's family filed such a statement with the Los Angeles Supreme Court. The lawsuit says that by such actions, the television channel violates an agreement signed in 1992. The agreement states that HBO will not defame the name of the pop musician who passed away in 2009.

A well-known television channel has already violated this agreement on its part, as it was producing this tape. This is stated in the lawsuit. It also says about the imminent intentions by showing this film to discredit a person who is not guilty, but cannot defend his good name simply because he is no longer alive. This is just a small part of the information that was taken from the lawsuit filed by the Jackson family. All in all, the statement of this family contains 53 pages.

The plaintiffs asked to note that this issue had already been raised ten years ago. A whole investigation was carried out about such accusations against the pop musician, as a result of which it was established that Michael Jackson was innocent.

Representatives of the TV channel said that they decided to show the documentary so that each viewer could get to know the story in more detail and draw certain conclusions from everything shown.

It should be noted that the first screening of the film has already passed. He was introduced to the audience in Utah, in the United States of America. The screening took place in January as part of the Sundance Film Festival. James Safechuck and Wade Robson took part in the filming of Leaving Neverland. They say they were sexually assaulted by a world famous pop musician when they were 11 and 7, respectively. In 1993, Jackson was accused of molesting a 13-year-old boy who was a guest of a musician at Neverland Ranch. Jackson disagreed with the charges, but to keep the case from going to trial, he decided to pay the teen's family $ 20 million. A similar charge was filed in 2004, but in 2005 all charges were dropped.
