If the weather is good, street painters go out on the field at any time of the year, taking with them a tripod and a whole bunch of crayons. It is these drawing crayons that will become the main characters of today's story. And let the line from the song of the "Rondo" group serve as an epigraph to the article: "And the street artist put up his tripod and, choosing a victim, sharpens his pencil …"
First, a little theory. School chalk has nothing to do with a painter's crayons. After all, it is fragile, easily crumbles in the hands, and under no circumstances can you cut out of it mini-sculptures, which are obtained by Pete Goldlust from crayons for painting. And this is what "a little practice" looks like.
Isn't that so, the technique is very similar to the one that other figures have used, cutting out all kinds of things from ordinary simple pencils. Whether it is difficult or easier to work with a painter's crayons, I find it difficult to say, since drawing has never been one of my talents. But the author of mini-sculptures is clearly not lacking in talent. And hardly anyone would dare to throw up their hands and say "ay-ay-ay, ruined!"

Why did Russia forget the artist who was called the best landscape painter of his time: Nikolai Dubovskaya
Once his name was known to all connoisseurs of Russian painting. Pasadena Chalk Festival. How 600 artists painted Pasadena with crayons
As you know, some of the most beautiful and most short-lived examples of street art are sculptures, castles, drawings and other works of sand. So, we have already written about the numerous competitions and festivals of sand sculpture on the pages of Kulturologiya.ru, and then we lamented in chorus that it was a shame that such beauty would soon be washed away by rains or pests will break it. Adult games with crayons. Puzzle paintings by Christian Faur
While little children draw the sun and clouds on the asphalt with colored crayons, and their older comrades display formulas and equations on the blackboard, adult uncles and aunts use these crayons for other, no less noble purposes. And today on the agenda are paintings by Christian Faur, who does not paint them with crayons, but lays them out like a mosaic
