Kilograms and kilometers of colorful lace hanging from the ceiling of the Faena Arts Center gallery in Buenos Aires is an original art project by an Argentine designer Manuel Ameztoy, who thus depicted natural landscapes and plant motifs that actually exist in the province of Entre Rios, where he was born and spent his childhood. The textile installation is called Pop-Up Paradises, and this name clearly demonstrates how the author is attached to his homeland and appreciates the beauty of Argentinean nature. The lacy fabrics that adorn the hall of the art gallery with fancy curtains are handmade from non-woven fabric. The installation covers a huge area of 640 square meters. Manuel Amezta is famous for such large-scale works, however, he is known as the author of multilayer installations made of tissue paper, enclosed in transparent acrylic boxes - they formed the basis of his personal exhibitions in 2005-2006, held at the Galeria Braga Menendez Arte Contemporaneo.
Working with textiles is another facet in the work of the Argentine artist. A peculiar interpretation of the forest as a multi-colored lacy paradise in a separate enclosed space is a bold experiment of the artist. Manuel Ameztoy made an attempt to conduct a visual dialogue between the artificial landscape and the natural environment, peacefully coexisting on the same territory.
You can see the lace textile forest under the ceiling until August 12 in the halls of the Faena Arts Center gallery in Buenos Aires. Also about this art project - on the page of Manuel Ameztoy.

Therefore, people who are on a diet should not look at these products. Or watch, but think that this is not a cake at all, but a beautiful painted dish. Jokes as a joke, but Karin really can be called an artist

Lace is everywhere, lace is everywhere. Art objects by Joana Vasconcelos

And designer Joana Vasconcelos from Portugal deliberately chooses "victims" in his own apartment, while threatening another "darling" with crochet and thread

Needless to say, one head is good, but two are better - and this is never doubted by the creative tandem of photographer Marco Guerra and artist Yasmina Alaoui. Together they created the art project "One thousand and one dream"

Striking multi-colored carpets with vibrant geometric patterns are the work of artist Heidi Voet, master of original installations. These carpets are one of such installations, since they are not woven from laces, threads or fabric ribbons at all, but from several hundred wristwatches. This work is called very strange: "Is six afraid of seven"
