About the painted rooms of the German artist Heike Weber we wrote less than a month ago. But besides these arts, she also decorates the walls and floors of rooms with other: unusual silicone installations in the form of figures and ornaments. Usually the artist imitates oriental carpets on the floor and creates airy paintings on the walls. True, for wall "painting" a "frame" is needed - nails driven into the wall in a special order, but in the end the viewer sees only unusual graphics, as if floating above a vertical surface.
In addition to silicone installations, Heike Weber creates carpets … from carpets. Yes, yes, the artist cuts out the same abstract patterns and ornaments from real carpets, as if from paper, and as a result, very original decorative carpets are obtained that can be used not only for exhibitions, but also in everyday life, decorating the floor of their own apartment with them.
