Within the framework of the festival Kobe biennaleheld in Japan, the Art in a Container competition was held (Art in a Container International Competition). Leading artists and designers from all over the world took part in it. Japanese masters Masakazu Shirane and Saya Miyazaki presented their project called Wink space ("Shimmering Space").

The project is a modular structure placed in a container. The mirrors arranged in a special way form a huge kaleidoscopic tunnel. The installation consists of 1,100 triangular parts. Designers can change the position of the mirrors by adjusting the cables that hold the entire structure. When creating their project, the Japanese used technology Zipper Architecture ("Lightning-fast architecture"), the essence of which is fast installation, and, if necessary, fast transportation of the structure.

It seems to a person passing through the tunnel that he is lost in space. Each time the crystal-like prisms change their position, a new "cosmic" picture is created. Thus, the tunnel can be traversed over and over again.
