Incredible patterned sculptures by a Korean author named Chihyun Shin were recently introduced to the world at an exhibition held at the Gaain Gallery in Seoul. These statues, as if woven from voluminous lace, are interesting because they consist of numerous small figures, like puzzles in a book. You probably remember these same puzzles - some of these tasks are included in logic textbooks for elementary grades, and they also like to publish children's cognitive magazines. Usually these are pictures in which other pictures are inscribed, accompanied by questions like "how many small fish are there in a big fish", or "how many mice does this cat consist of". Probably the sculptor Chihyun Shin also loved these riddles at one time.
At the exhibition in Gaain Gallery, the author presented a carved sculpture of a shark, which consists of dozens of small fish that resemble scales, as well as sculptures of a rabbit, a man and a chicken, as if woven from intricate plants. Laconic, laconic and very stylish - this is the principle of the work of this talented young sculptor.
