The story that happened to a 5-year-old girl named Stella, who lives in New York, is another confirmation that our world is full of kindness, she just needs to notice. The baby made friends with the metro drivers, although she saw them only in the window of the train, and on February 14, Valentine's Day, she received an unexpected surprise from one of them.
Every morning for 5-year-old Stella begins with the fact that she and her father come to the Longwood Avenue subway station in the Bronx and wait for train 6. When the train approaches the platform, the girl waves to the drivers, and they wave back, and sometimes honk.
And so every day for 6 months, since Stella became a schoolgirl on February 14, for some reason the train left the tunnel slower than usual, and the girl even asked her father why. The Pope suggested that all this was due to delays in the schedule of public transport.
But then something really unexpected happened: the driver's car stopped in front of the girl and her father. The driver opened the window and handed the baby a box of chocolate in the shape of a heart with the words: “Happy Valentine's Day! Every time I see a little girl standing on a platform and waving her hand, my day gets better."
Local media tracked down the driver. This is 47-year-old Joe Moreno. He has been working in the subway for 20 years. Joe said that when he was buying gifts for his daughter and girlfriend, he remembered about the girl on the platform and decided to please her too. “We are invisible to the average New Yorker - but not to Stella!” Joe said in an interview.
And in continuation of the topic more 10 photo proofs that the world is full of kind people.

Because of what every third train driver died on one railway route: "Victory Road"
After a partial break of the blockade in January 1943, a long-awaited chance appeared to establish transport links with the city. In order to provide the population of Leningrad with food and organize the transfer of troops to strengthen the Leningrad Front, the construction of a temporary railway line began. Later, this path went down in history as the "Victory Road", but those who erected the branch under the incessant fire of the enemy called it at that time "the corridor of death"
