How do we change with age? How similar are we to our parents? Is it true that couples who have lived together for a long time look alike? Bobby Neil Adams' photographic surgery will help you answer these questions.
The photographer combines 2 photographs of different people into one in such a way that the photograph looks like a portrait of one person. To do this, he prints the photos in one size, cuts them, and then, armed with scissors, glue and patience, puts them together. He calls his work agemaps.
Looking at these works one never ceases to be amazed that some adults have retained a childish spontaneous smile and sparkle in their eyes.
And how I liked the photos that combine the face of the child and the parent! Some of them have a striking resemblance!
But the works that depict couples literally become one whole, in my opinion, look somewhat creepy. Maybe you shouldn't become ONE whole, but harmoniously complement each other?
According to the author, all his works are created by hand: no photoshop. Personally, I am already reviewing parental photos in order to at least try to recreate the agemaps of my family.

ReSkinning Nature: Patches on Trees by Bobby Neil Adams
How legitimate is human intervention in nature? And is it necessary - even with good intentions? Does nature need the help that man offers her, and what exactly can he offer her? It is easier to refer the questions to the global section than to try to answer them. And yet Bobby Neel Adams in a series of photographs "ReSkinning Nature" invites us to think at least a little about this side of the relationship between nature and man

The laws of genetics in the collages of Bobby Neel Adams
The enthusiastic congratulations accompanying the appearance of a newborn in the family are necessarily associated with comments about the child's resemblance to his mother or father. In some cases, people are proud of their similarity to their parents, in others they prefer to forget about it. But be that as it may, genes are genes, whether we like it or not. Continuing this thought - a series of collages by Bobby Neil Adams "Family Tree" (FamilyTree)
Family resemblance. An interesting series of collage portraits Genetic portraits by Ulric Collett
Kings and nobles were proud of the family resemblance, and in our time people continue to be proud of family traits not only of character, but also of appearance. Plump lips, a strong-willed chin, a humped nose, wide cheekbones, a high forehead, big eyes, long fingers … Looking at mother and daughter, father and son, brother and sister, outsiders immediately notice their external similarity in these family traits. Or maybe they don't, because the relatives are not that alike? Photographer Ulric Collette from Quebec
