At all times, industrial photography has attracted attention, interest in it has not faded away even now. This is evidenced by the #BeryFocusNaRostech exhibition, which was organized by Rostec. In just a few weeks, more than a thousand photographs taken by 70 photographers from different regions of the Russian Federation were submitted with applications for participation in the competition.
Industrial photography is becoming more and more popular, interest in it is increasing due to the development of domestic industry. A large number of works submitted to the competition posed a difficult task for the jury to determine the best photo. It was not easy for the members of the commission to do this, since many of the pictures were taken at a very high professional level. When choosing the best, the jury looked at the integral image of the industrial facility, the originality of the photographer's idea, as well as the quality of the implementation of this idea.
Each participant chose the style and theme independently. Rostec helped only with interesting locations, organized photo tours around the country's enterprises: Ruselectronics, Tekhmash, Mariinsky mine, Russian Helicopters, etc., 24 enterprises in total.
The three best photographers and their works were identified on January 28th. Each of the top three photographers received prizes in the form of professional photographic equipment from the leading manufacturer Shvabe, which is part of Rostec. The first place was won by Andrey Zakharov, with his picture taken in Samara at the Kuznetsov PAT. He became the owner of the newest model of a photo lens called Zenitar 0, 95/50.
The jury decided to award the second place to Alexander Rudny for his photograph with the title "Emerald Mine". This photo was taken by him in the Sverdlovsk region in the village named after Malyshev, where a photo tour of the Mariinsky mine was held. For this shot, the photographer was awarded a Helios lens.
Photographer Konstantin Ilyinsky with his photograph "Matrix of the fourth order", which was taken at the "Optron" - a Moscow enterprise. This work earned the photographer third place, for which he was awarded the Zenitar 2, 8/16, an ultra wide-angle lens that has a “diagonal fisheye” effect.
Ekaterina Baranova, who holds the position of Director of Communications at Rostec State Corporation, noted that photographers whose work could not win a prize this time should not be upset, they will still have such an opportunity in new contests that will be held repeatedly.

The last painting by Repin, or What life results were summed up by the great artist on his canvas "Hopak"
The last work of the great Russian painter Ilya Efimovich Repin was the painting "Hopak". He wrote it in fragments (from 1926 until his death in September 1930). Art critics are very critical of this picture due to the non-standard composition and very bright colors. By the way, "Hopak" really stands out sharply against the background of other works by Repin, which is due to the artist's old age and poor health. But there are other reasons as well. What plot is fraught with the last work of the master, and what kind of

Underwater photography that doesn't look like underwater photography: a photography project from Adeline Mai
We have written about underwater photography more than once, but the peculiarity of this series of photographs, created by 20-year-old girl-photographer Adeline Mai, is that the water in it does not look like water. Rather, they are people immersed in the ether, who appear before us in an extreme degree of purity and harmlessness
