And this is very difficult: most of the race takes place on rough terrain, because it is funnier that way.
Bed decor - this is also essential: some participants in the games are guided by efficiency and use advanced engineering solutions in their sports equipment; others, who are inclined to humor, put all their energy into decorating a mobile bed. This year's racing theme is British history, so don't be surprised by the strange bed in the shape of a Norman drakkar. An integral part of the races is a parade of "sleeping constructions on wheels" and their drivers dressed in suits.
The Bed Race is an important and well-known event with excellent press and TV coverage. It attracts 25,000 tourists, and not only from the surrounding area. The money raised by the show goes to charity: last year they raised 80,000 euros, and this year they raised 100,000. As you can see, play on the bed - socially useful business.
