The works of Gabriel Moreno (Gabriel Moreno), along with the vivid imagination of the author, also a great sense of style and grace. The artist creates illustrations for glossy magazines and advertising agencies, but his work deserves to be called works of art.
To create his images, the artist uses the most basic tools, such as an ink or ballpoint pen, and simple shapes, such as a line. He loves to work with large formats: Gabriel likes that his illustrations will be published in a magazine or on a huge billboard without losing their smallest details.
Gabriel claims that his work is a kind of response to a challenge: will he be able to portray the sensuality of the mouth or the smooth lines of the shoulder using ordinary lines and at the same time not lose that very sensuality, convey it to the viewer?
The artist's work begins with finding suitable images and photographs, which he then combines and transfers to canvas. However, when he begins to draw, the initial idea can change indefinitely, because it is one thing to plan an image in his head and quite another to see how it will look in reality, how all its elements will be in harmony with each other.
Among the famous artists whose work influenced Gabriel's style, he names the expressionists Egon Schiele, Robert Motherwell, illustrators Berto Martinez and Eva Solano.
Gabriel Moreno is a Spanish illustrator based in Madrid. Gabriel was able to turn his passion for drawing into work: having received a corresponding education at the University of the Arts in Seville, he began to cooperate with advertising agencies as a graphic designer. In 2007, he was named one of the twenty new talents in illustration by Computer Arts magazine.
