Until recently, it was believed that tigers were not found in Hungary. However, one of these days, one giant representative of this type of feline appeared in the mentioned country. However, this is not at all about the zoo and not even about a live animal at all. Hungarian tiger made made of wood … And it was created in order to draw public attention to the problem of deforestation. Tigers are popular animals! They are beautiful, graceful, people just want to look at these adorable representatives of the feline genus. And the artists just want to draw them. Someone creates an image of a tiger on three naked female bodies, someone reproduces it from thousands of cigarettes. And the Hungarian artist Gabor Szoke built this huge animal out of wood.
A giant wooden tiger appeared in the vicinity of Budapest for a reason. The fact is that the international art camp Hello Wood! Is taking place in the capital of Hungary this fall, which is attended by 200 young artists, architects and designers from all over the world.
And the city of Budapest itself and its environs have become a huge platform for exhibiting the works of these young authors.
The giant tiger is just one such piece. It symbolizes the thoughtless deforestation that is currently taking place in Hungary. People think little about the consequences of this destructive process for nature and for Mankind itself.
Here is the tiger and symbolizes this environmental hazard. He stands next to a busy road in such a position as if he is ready to pounce on a passing car at any second.
Moreover, in order to create this giant wooden tiger, it was not at all necessary to cut down several trees. The sculpture was created from recycled wood and wood scraps found by its author in various places.
