"Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world," argued Marilyn Monroe. I wonder how fit a blonde star would have found the shoes unveiled by Scherer Gonzalez last year at Berlin Fashion Week - sandals likely inspired by the look of a blooming garden?
The shoes, which are part of the spring 2009 Scherer Gonzalez collection, have become a real sensation for the fashion show. The ultra-high-heeled sandals are made of transparent plastic, while the inside of the platform is empty space filled with flower buds and petals. But this was not enough for the designers, so they decided to additionally decorate the ankles of the models by attaching stems and leaves of fresh flowers to the fasteners of the shoes.
Shoes decorated with flowers turned out to be very feminine and delicate, a little glamorous and a little crazy. Of course, hardly anyone would dare to wear such literally "blooming" sandals in everyday life. But for the bride or her bridesmaid, they could be just right. And if the bride is not afraid to be taller than the groom because of high heels, then throughout the wedding she will literally walk on flower petals.
Scherer Gonzalez is a young design duo made up of Constanze Gonzalez and Paul Scherer. They met while studying fashion design in Berlin, and in 2004 founded their own brand. The results of their work can be seen on the website.

Creative blots and creative doodles in painting by Agness Cecile
Pasternak wanted to "get ink and cry", recalling February, although usually such a mood accompanies creative melancholic people right now, in the fall. Streets wet in the rain, leaves crying under heavy drops, mascara flowing from the eyelashes on the cheeks … Such an autumnal rainy, cloudy and very sad work captivates the Italian artist Agness Cecile. Even the colored paintings of this artist are thoroughly saturated with an autumn-rainy mood
