Each performance by the Japanese artist Que Houxo is a spectacular, colorful and unforgettable show. In real time, huge flowers and other objects bloom under the artist's brush - bright, eye-catching, almost alive.
The peculiarity of the artist's works is, perhaps, not that he creates his paintings in the presence of spectators in a short period of time. The material and the environment in which they are created make his images unique. Que Houxo uses fluorescent paints to paint in the dark on walls or even floors. Backlit by ultraviolet rays, his images look especially bright and fantastic.
Darkness, flashes of light, handpicked music and graffiti that appear just before the eyes of the audience - all these components of Que Houxo's performance create a special atmosphere that photographs can hardly convey. Even a video filmed at the scene cannot cope with this. According to eyewitnesses, the performances of the Japanese must be seen with their own eyes: it captures the viewer and plunges him into some special world of light, darkness and creativity.
Que Houxo began his career in 1999 as a graffiti master and quickly gained popularity thanks to his unusual technique. Now the artist is often invited to discos and nightclubs to create luminous installations. In addition, the author tries himself as an accessory designer. In collaboration with the renowned bag manufacturer SAG, a fall / winter collection has emerged, where each bag is adorned with the signature bright flower from Que Houxo.
