On October 1-11, Moscow will host the Solo theater festival, and this is the eleventh time. The Na Strastnom Theater Center is responsible for organizing this event. The press service of the center said that this time the program will feature the works of the largest theaters in Europe and avant-garde theater youth. Theaters from Luxembourg, France, Italy and Germany will come to this festival with their best works. Russian theater groups will arrive from St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, and there will be representatives of the Russian capital. A total of 11 performances are planned to be shown.

The festival is planned to be opened by showing the one-man show "Tin Drum" by the Berliner Ensemble, created by Bertold Brecht. Anton Adasinsky, a student of the clown Polunin, will present his work "The Last Clown on Earth", which perfectly combines video installation, clowning, dance and pantomime.

At the eleventh festival, star guests Yevgeny Grishkovets and Roberto Latini are planning to show their works. Every time at the festival, they look forward to the next performance, which will be presented by Grishkovets. This time he decided to show a work with the title "Preface". It will be quite unusual, as it is a performance in the genre of a preface to the novel. Roberto Latini will present the play "Song of Songs", which was based on the Bible. Valery Ivchenko, a representative of the Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theater, will show the play "The Meek", which is based on the work of Dostoevsky.

Unexpected this time will be the arrival of theaters from Luxembourg and Rouen, which have not previously come to theatrical festivals, which are held in large numbers every year in the Russian capital. At the National Theater of Luxembourg at the Solo festival in Moscow, they decided to show a play called Lenz, based on the story of Georg Buchner. The National Drama Center of Normandy and Rouen will present a one-man show "Mending the Living" as part of the festival. It was based on a heart transplant novel written by Meilis de Kerangal and has already won many prestigious awards in Europe.

Theatrical avant-garde will be represented by the works of Anton Mozgalev and Vasily Butkevich, who had to perform in Paris, Edinburgh and London with their productions. Mozgalev will present the work "Macbeth" - his own interpretation of the modern vision of Shakespeare's tragedy. Butkevich will present the play "Sonm", which is his first solo project.
