In one of the largest squares in the Dutch city of Leeuwarden, the world's largest scrambled eggs were fried. More precisely, several huge "glazes" at once decorated the square with the permission of the city authorities, and the Dutch artist became a skilled cook Henk Hofstra.
His mischievous installation called "Art Eggcident" stretched over an area of 14,000 square meters, the diameter of one yolk reached 7.5 meters, and the giant fried egg itself was more than 30 meters in diameter. The author called his "frying pan" an ecological art project, but the only explanation that comes to mind at the sight of eggs "fried" on the asphalt is global warming and abnormal heat, which we were all lucky to feel.
By the way, in addition to the painted eggs, Henk Hofstra also placed several smaller "glazes" on the square, but with voluminous yolks, around which children are very fond of playing and taking pictures of adults. They say that the city authorities and local residents liked the huge square-frying pan so much that it was decided to leave it in this form for six months.
